Fast absorbing polyglactin 910

PROCRYL 910 Rapid sutures are coated, braided, synthetic fast absorbable sterile surgical suture for short term wound support.
PROCRYL 910 Rapid sutures is specially coated in order to create a smoother suture that will pass through tissue easily and since the suture is white (undyed) it can be easily visible during suturing.
Due to the low molecular weight compared to regular Polyglactin 910 or Polyglycolic Acid Sutures, PROCRYL 910 Rapid sutures achieve rapid absorption in the tissues. It is a much superior alternative to catgut sutures since its absorption is more predictable, tensile strength is better and it exhibits little or no tissue reaction. PROCRYL 910 Rapid sutures absorbs quickly, hence it is ideal in cases where short term tissue approximation is required.
